The Young Pacific Leaders Alumni Conference took place on September 9-11, 2026 in Koror Palau under the theme Youth Leadership for a Secure Resilient and Prosperous Pacific. The Conference was hosted by Reng Collective in partnership with the U.S. Department of State’s Young Pacific Leaders Initiative and the Republic of Palau Ministry of Justice, the three-day event focused on enhancing regional security, resilience, and prosperity through youth leadership and collaboration.
A highlight of the conference was the opportunity for participants to engage directly with senior leaders of the Republic of Palau, including the President and Cabinet members. During a visit to Ngerulmud on September 10, Senator TJ Imrur Remengesau addressed the Young Pacific Leaders delegation, reflecting on his experiences as a young leader and the importance of civic engagement. He challenged participants to remain committed to advancing meaningful dialogue, collaborative leadership, and solutions that contribute to the peace, security, and prosperity of their respective nations and the wider Pacific region.
