House of Delegates

The House of Delegates is one of the two chambers of the Olbiil Era Kelulau, established under the Constitution of the Republic of Palau. Composed of sixteen delegates representing Palau’s sixteen states, members are elected to serve four year terms and are entrusted with advancing legislation and matters of national importance.

Since the First Olbiil Era Kelulau convened in 1981, the House of Delegates has remained committed to democratic governance, responsible leadership, and public service. Today, the 12th Olbiil Era Kelulau (2025–2028) continues to uphold its constitutional responsibilities through effective legislation, sustainable development, and efforts that promote the well being, safety, and prosperity of the Republic of Palau and its people.
